A reminder of where we want to be, how we want to feel, is all within us.
This blog post is a reminder that how we want to experience life… our environment, the people around us, all of what we have… depends on us.
Where we want to be
Light or in the darkness…
Love or hatred…
Happiness or sadness…
Harmony or fear…
Calm or anger…
Everything you focus on has an opposite side… what feels good, and what doesn’t. When you start to focus on what doesn’t feel good, notice and then refocus. You are in control.
The challenges that come into our life are to teach us something about ourselves. To learn what we are bringing into our lives.
We can choose where we want to be and how we want to feel. Every time you choose what you don’t want to try to change it and focus on something that does elevate you and allow you to feel better.
The more we focus on how we feel and tune in to when we feel good… the more we feel good. You get more of what you focus on.
It is important to find a mantra and focus on the mantra as soon as your mind slips into something that does not feel good.
Here are a few example mantras. Repeat them or choose a goal to focus on your thoughts and notice them every day. Remind yourself that you are in control.
I am going my best
I choose to be happy and to love myself today
I am worthy
Today is going to be a great day
I am free of worry and regret
My thoughts become my reality
I believe in myself
I love myself
I choose to be happy
I choose faith over fear
I am free of worry and am at peace with who I am
