We Need to Exercise

Exercise, and moving our body is so important.

These two years were really different from the past. We used to be actively out and about all day. Running to work, walking in the grocery store, traveling more. All kinds of activity – so our body was moving.

For these past two years, especially the first year, people were sitting more. Working from home and staying home. Gyms were closed, we had to be home more, to be still more. Travel was cut off, so we were home. We used to go to Europe, or the beach, or public arenas where we are all moving and dancing.

For some people, they held onto working out every day, and they know the importance of it in how they feel. Especially if you have one passionate exercise that you enjoy. For example, playing tennis, or walking every day, or swimming laps, surfing, running.

I want to write this blog post to just remind you of the importance of exercise. There are so many options and ways to move at least 30 minutes a day.

YouTube has a lot of options and videos you can watch – yoga, pilates, dance, etc. Also, the best way is to just make sure you go outside and stay active.

Gyms are more open now and more available. You can wear a mask and go take a class and join something new. If not, you can always just go outside. Walking, running, bike riding, rollerblading, swimming, tennis, golf, or even hiking.

No matter what you do your life will greatly improve if you take the time to move your body each day.

I know some people are waiting for things to come back to how they used to be, but the truth is it is not going to be how it used to be. So all we can do is start now with what we have.

Find a way to move your body, breathe, and reset not just your physical self, but moving daily helps your mind as well.

Lots of love,
Rachel

  1. Thank you so much for the simple yet profound article. It is so true, I feel so different when I get out and do some physical activity. You really inspire me to get back in the swing and make sure most days of the week I’m getting in my 30 minutes of activity. Definitely is the best thing for body, mind and spirit. Thanks so much snd keep the inspiration coming 🙏🤗💖
