The Now. I know I have talked about this topic a lot, but we need a reminder all the time that the NOW is the only thing that exists.
The now is all we ever really have.
We wake up in the morning and some people like to pray, some do meditation, and some of us make coffee or tea.
It is important to take time first thing in the day with a habit that makes us feel present. Like maybe a walk or a yoga class. It helps us to remember that this is the time to do things. This is the now, and the power is in the present moment, the right now.
Whatever you want in your life, it is important to start with today. Start with making a list of things that you want to create, do, be, or have.
Also if you want to work out an issue – this is the time today. If you want to make peace with someone, or work on something that is bothering you, or do something for yourself that you know you have been thinking about, don’t wait for tomorrow, put one action towards it today.
Now is the time to make peace with others, now is the time to start to create the business that you want, now is the time to send your resume to find a job that you want, now is the time to forgive yourself or others, now is the time to call someone you love, now is the time to take time to think about what you do want in your life, and also what you might need to let go of.
If you don’t start to do something now to work towards what you want, it will never come. You start with your mind, you then have the vision, and then the action.
Do it now, it is always best to do it now. And if you feel overwhelmed taking time to be present in the moment will help you come back to the here and now and out of your mind.
You can have anything you want, you just have to get clear on what it is. For example, if you want a nice vacation you take it step by step. First, you think of the idea, then you might do some research, next you realize you want a nice balcony room overlooking the ocean, and you find a hotel and book it.
Take the steps, and the answers will come.
